After the success of the Chef IQ Multi-Cooker, things didn't slow down. With the release of the ChefIQ Thermometer, the eco-system was growing. This was a great opportunity to expand on the vocabulary and explore new ways to communicate with the user.
Sometimes a tone isn't enough.
The Thermometer was designed to be used in various locations, sometimes away from the users phone. This led us to a challenge in conveying information that might be critical to a delicious outcome.
Introducing the voice of Chef IQ.
There is nothing more clear than a voice. The information is conveyed to the user without any uncertainty. We still use tone where useful, but we also introduced the voice.

Having a brand new high quality audio playback system in the Thermometer hub, we were able to create a smooth cross device audio experience. We built upon the existing vocabulary from the Multi-Cooker with the addition of the voice.
